Sewerby Hall and Gardens

Situated in a dramatic cliff-top position, Sewerby Hall and Gardens form the gateway to the Flamborough Heritage Coast. Sewerby Hall and Gardens, set in 50 acres of early 19th Century parkland, enjoys spectacular views over Bridlington Bay. The Forum Leisure Complex

MV Yorkshire Belle

One-hour, non-landing coastal cruises from Bridlington harbour to Flamborough Head and longer cruises (at least 2 hours) non-landing to the Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve. Vessel also available for private charter, for which cruises of any length or format can be arranged.

Bridlington Harbour Heritage Museum

Photographs, harbour history models, diorama of the fishing techniques, video presentation and art gallery where paintings by local artists can be purchased. Exhibits include features on the 'Great Gale of 1871' and the history of Bridlington harbour with special emphasis on 'Three Brothers' historic sailing coble restored and sailed by BSCPS.

'Beside the Seaside'

Bridlington Priory St Mary's Parish Church

Large ancient church, part of former priory. Pre-Reformation, but with later decoration and furnishing. Fine organ. Shop and exhibition of local history. Many interesting windows (the largest west window in the North of England).

Burton Agnes Hall

Burton Agnes Hall is a magnificent example of Elizabethan architecture built in 1598 by Sir Henry Griffith and still lived in by his descendants. The Hall is fitted with treasures collected and commissioned by the family over the centuries - original Elizabethan carving and plasterwork and a marvellous collection of Impressionist paintings. The Hall is surrounded by lawns and yew topiary bushes while the old walled garden is filled with collections of roses, clematis, herbs and perennials contained in a potager, maze, jungle garden and coloured gardens with giant board games. [Visit Site]

The Deep

Park Rose Owl Sanctuary

The owl sanctuary is set in 3.5 acres of natural woodland. Twenty five aviaries along a woodland walk displaying variety of owls plus birds of prey. Guided information tours and flying displays take place daily throughout the summer season. School educational visits available on request. Educational information also available.

RSPB Bempton Cliffs

A family favourite, and easily the best place in England to see, hear and smell seabirds and one of the top places in the UK to see Puffins! More than 200,000 birds at any one time (from April to August) make the cliffs seem alive with adults bringing food to their nests, or young chicks making their first faltering flights.  [Visit Site]
